NHTG Site Based Bursary Conservation Training 18+

The College is working with the National Heritage Training Group (NHTG) to offer site based crafts building conservation training for 6 and 12 months.

Built Environment Development & Control L6 23+

This is an on-site course. NVQ by assembly of portfolio and demonstrating relevant experience and ability to meet the qualification standard.

Conservation Construction Site Supervision L4 23+

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by the individual in the workplace.  The course provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in the management of conservation projects to demonstrate their competence.

Conservation Construction Site Management L6 23+

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by the individual in the workplace. The course provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in the management of conservation projects to demonstrate their competence.

Workplace National Vocational Qualifications 23+

The Building Crafts College offers on-site based assessment for a range of NVQs including Craft, Heritage and Supervisor at a series of levels. Completion of these qualifications requires unit based site evidence portfolios and on-site assessment by College assessors.

Foundation Degree in Historic Building Conservation 18+

The degree is offered in partnership with Kingston University, which is the validating institution.  This exciting qualification consists of 8 modules forming the degree, along with hands-on practical work in the workshops at the Building Crafts College and the laboratories at Kingston University as well as live project experience at a number of conservation sites.
