The Building Crafts College will be offering apprenticeship
programmes in Building Maintenance, Site Carpentry, Bench Joinery and Stonemasonry
to meet the growing demands for Contractors and Housing Associations.
A full Level 2 qualification is offered on a Block release attendance, over two years,
covering the wider range of activities described within the attached leaflets.
The course breaks down into 2 sections, in the first year, where candidates will learn
their hand basic skills, and the second year, where they will work towards completing
the full Intermediate Construction Award certificate, and build a work-based evidence
portfolio for the NVQ Level 2 qualification and complete the full Apprenticeship
Framework.
