City & Guilds Diploma
The Building Crafts College runs two City & Guilds Diploma courses in Fine Woodwork and Advanced Stonemasonry.
The Fine Woodwork course is a two year full time diploma and is practically based. Students have a range of projects and assessments to complete in their course including woodturning, veneering and french polishing.
The Stonemasonry diploma covers the basic skills and develops traditional stonemasonry techniques such as letter cutting, stone carving and restoration. These skills are covered over the one year of full time study.
