The College has strong links with local employers, particularly within the areas of the Woodworking industry and Stone restoration which directly relates to its core College activities. The College offers On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) which relates to qualifying the workforce whilst remaining at work, in the areas of Site Carpentry and Stonemasonry.

Given the unprecedented construction work planned for the Thames Gateway and Olympic development areas within East London, the College actively coordinates a range of forums with main contractors. The College provides Health and Safety training as well as providing general consultancy on matters related to company development.
