Lily Marsh

Advanced Diploma in Stonemasonry

For Lily the Advanced Diploma in Stone
masonry course was an opportunity to immerse herself in the craft, learn techniques and develop skills. Lily particularly enjoyed the down-to-earth teaching and guidance from the knowledgeable and experienced BCC tutors.

Lily has since started the Princes Foundation Building Skill in Craft Apprenticeship as an apprentice stone mason. Once Lily has her NVQ 3 her aim is to build on her experience, skill and reputation as a stone mason. Lily hopes that in the future she will be able to work internationally.

“Doing something so creative was really satisfying”

“The course was part of a career change and has been the best thing I’ve done”
