Short Course – Furniture Restoration

This course imparts a wide range of practical knowledge and skills allowing you to work on your own damaged furniture and/or wooden items such as bowls and boxes. If you don’t have a project to work on we suggest purchasing a relatively inexpensive item such as a jewellery box that is in need of repair.

  • College certificate
  • Interest in woodworking, furniture and design
  • No prior experience necessary

You will need to bring:

  • Steel toe-capped boots (to be worn at all times while on course)
  • H or 2H pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Eraser/rubber
  • Pens/pencils
  • Notebook/paper


  • More detail to follow but we will offer a variety of courses ranging from 2 and 4 day workshops, term-long Saturday courses and one or two week blocks over Easter and Summer
