Short Course – Introduction to Carpentry Basics – Autumn 2022

Introduction to Carpentry Basics is a 6 week evening class for those who want to learn the basics in woodworking, focusing on home improvement and DIY skills. You will learn the following:
  • Skirting & Architraving
  • Hanging doors and fixing ironmongery
  • Putting up shelves
  • Laying laminate flooring

10 students only.

The course is ideal for beginners wanting to learn the basics of woodworking in order to progress onto a further course, or DIYers who want to learn some practical skills for small projects around the home.

  • Steel toe-capped boots (to be worn at all times while on course)
  • H or 2H pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Eraser/rubber
  • Pens/pencils
  • Notebook/paper
