The Building Crafts College offers on-site based assessment for a range of NVQs, including:

  • Craft NVQs at Level 2 + 3
  • Heritage NVQs at Level 3
  • Supervisor NVQs at Level 3

Completion of these qualifications requires unit based site evidence portfolios and on-site assessment by College assessors.

NEW! For anyone interested in pursing an NVQ in Heritage at Level4, then you’re invited to join an online class held by our tutor Steve Houchin. The class will cover Traditional Building Techniques & Applied Conservation Measurement & Analysis.

  • Previous level relevant NVQs (NVQ 2 requires a minimum of 5-7 years of trade experience)

  • As the course is based on completion of portfolios with relevant evidence the duration may differ for each candidate.
