Short Course – Furniture Restoration

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course imparts a wide range of practical knowledge and skills allowing you to work on your own owl and/or damaged furniture and wooden items. If you don’t have a project to work on we suggest purchasing a relatively inexpensive item such as a jewelry box that is in need of repair.

QUALIFICATION
- College certificate
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Interest in woodworking, furniture and design
- No prior experience necessary
You will need to bring:
- Steel toe-capped boots (to be worn at all times while on course)
- H or 2H pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Eraser/rubber
- Pens/pencils
- Notebook/paper
COURSE DURATION
- More detail to follow but we will offer a variety of courses ranging from 2 and 4 day workshops, term-long Saturday courses and one or two week blocks over Easter and Summer
